Note: The Record and Pause buttons

This button can be assigned as a hotkey
for an application. Press and hold the
button, available applications will be
displayed on the screen. Highlight
one and press OK. After that, you
can launch the selected application
by pressing the MyButton1 button.
In the same way, you can change the
function of this button any time later.
Note that if you perform initial setup
(Factory reset / Reset), MyButton1
will return to its default function.
To pair remote with the TV
When the TV is turned on for the rst
time, a search for the remote will be
performed before the initial setup
starts. You will need to pair your re-
mote control with your TV at this point.
Press and hold the Home and Back/
Return buttons on the remote
simultaneously until the LED on the
remote starts to blink, then release the
buttons. That means the remote is in
pairing mode.
Now you will wait for the TV to nd
your remote. When the pairing process
is successful, the LED on the remote
will go o and a green check mark will
appear on the TV screen. If the pairing
process fails the remote will enter sleep
mode after 30 seconds.
In order to pair your remote later on,
you can go to Settings> Remotes and
accessories menu, highlight the Pair
accessory option and press OK to
start a search for accessories.
Charging the Remote Control with
USB-C
Unlike other remotes, your remote
does not have replaceable batteries. It
does contain an internal rechargeable
battery. If you need to charge your
remote control, you can use a charging
cable (not supplied). Plug the USB-C
end of the cable into the charging port
on the bottom of the remote control,
and the other end into a port on the
TV or a power adapter (not supplied).
While charging, the led around the
directional buttons will light up. You
can continue to use the remote control
while it’s charging.
Initial Setup Wizard
Note: Follow the on-screen instructions
to complete the initial setup process.
Use the directional buttons and the
OK button on the remote to select, set,
conrm and proceed.
When turned on for the rst time, the
remote control pairing screen will be
displayed. After pairing your remote
with the TV as instructed, select your
language on the next screen and press
OK. Follow the on-screen instructions
to setup your TV and install channels.
The installation wizard will guide you
through the setup process. You can
perform initial setup anytime using
the Factory reset option in the Set-
tings>System>About>Reset menu.
