Unlike other remotes, your remote
does not have replaceable batteries. It
does contain an internal rechargeable
battery. If you need to charge your
remote control, you can use a charging
cable (not supplied). Plug the USB-C
end of the cable into the charging port
on the bottom of the remote control,
and the other end into a port on the
TV or a power adapter (not supplied).
While charging, the led around the
directional buttons will light up. You
can continue to use the remote control
while it’s charging.
(*) Virtual Remote Buttons
Select the button you want to use on
the virtual remote and press OK.
Numeric buttons: Switches the
channel in Live TV mode, enters a
number in the text box on the screen
Guide: Displays the electronic
programme guide in Live TV mode
Text: Opens and closes teletext (where
available in Live TV mode)
Exit: Closes the virtual remote. You
can also press the Back/Return button
on the remote to close the virtual
remote
Rewind: Moves frames backwards in
media
Play: Starts to play selected media
Fast forward: Moves frames forward
in media
Record: Records programmes in Live
TV mode (**)
Pause: Pauses the media being played
/ Starts timeshift recording in Live TV
mode (**)
Stop: Stops the media being played
Coloured Buttons: Follow the on-
screen instructions for coloured button
functions
(**) may not work depending on your
TV model
Initial Setup Wizard
Note: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete
the initial setup process. Use the directional buttons
and the OK button on the remote to select, set,
conrm and proceed.
When turned on for the rst time, the
remote control pairing screen will be
displayed. After pairing your remote
with the TV as instructed, select your
language on the next screen and press
OK. Follow the on-screen instructions
to setup your TV and install channels.
The installation wizard will guide you
through the setup process. You can
perform initial setup anytime using
the Reset option in the Settings>Sys-
tem>About>Reset menu. You can
access the Settings menu from the
Dashboard on the Home screen or from
the TV options menu in Live TV mode.
Some steps of the initial setup process
may dier or be skipped depending on
the selected options in each step.
1. Pair the remote control
A search for the remote control will be
performed when the TV is turned on
for the rst time. Follow the on-screen
instructions to pair your remote control
(depends on the model of the remote
