2.2. Intended use
• This product is a medical device.
• This cabinet, with or without table, is intended to be used near a chair or bed, allowing the
user to remain in their wheelchair or bed.
• It is not intended to support or transport goods or persons.
• The warranty on this product is based on normal use and maintenance as described in
this manual. Damage to your product caused by improper use or lack of maintenance will
cause the warranty to lapse.

CAUTION
Risk of injuries and/or damage
• Carefully read and follow the instructions in this manual. Otherwise you may get injured or
your wheelchair may get damaged.
Keep the following general warnings in mind during use:
• Do not lean against or on the expandable tray, since the cupboard could tip over.
• Do not lift the cupboard by means of the tray.
• Do not place any objects larger than the cupboard on them.
• Do not exceed the bearing capacity of the expandable tray (10 kg).
• Do not convey persons or objects.
• The cupboard must only be set up indoors on level surfaces. When in use, check that all 4
castors / legs press evenly on the floor.
• Repairs and replacements may only be undertaken by trained persons and only genuine
replacement parts of Vermeiren should be used.
• Take note of the instructions for care and service. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper servicing / care.
Any serious incident [MDR (EU) 2017/745 §2 (65)] that has occurred in relation to the device
should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in
which the user and/or patient is established.
