This product is for indoor use only. Do not install or operate this product if it has been dropped, damaged,
or exposed to liquids. If any of these things happen, return it to Vaddio for safety and functional testing.
Before you start
Things to keep in mind when deciding where to install the camera:
n
Consider camera viewing angles, lighting conditions, line-of-sight obstructions, and in-wall
obstructions.
n
If the remote will be used, ensure that nothing blocks the IRlens in the camera's bezel.
The video image may appear off-level in any of these situations:
n
The mount is not level
n
The mount is not installed on the centerline of the room
n
The back wall of the room is not perpendicular to the centerline of the room
Prepare for a successful installation:
n
Be sure you can identify all cables correctly.
n
Check Cat-5 cables for continuity.
n
Talk to the network administrator. You will need to work with the network administrator to determine
how to configure the equipment.
o
If installing a ZoomSHOT 20 SE QUSB system in a non-DHCPnetwork (one that does not
automatically assign IP addresses), you may need to configure the Quick-Connect device with
static IP address.
o
If installing a ZoomSHOT 20 SE QMini system, inform the network administrator that the Quick-
Connect device has a non-configurable static IP address of 169.254.1.1.
o
The camera itself does not have an IP address, because it does not connect directly to the
network.
