5 Using the appliance functions

Function Description

Holiday function Reduced cooling capacity for the refrigerator compartment (14

°C). The freezer compartment remains at the set temperature

value.

Activating

▸ Touch the button.

▸ Select the button until appears flashing.

▸ Confirm with the button.

– The holiday function is activated and «- -»

is shown in the display instead of the refriger-

ator compartment temperature.

Deactivating

▸ Touch the button, select until ap-

pears.

▸ Confirm with the button.

– The holiday function is deactivated and

no longer shown in the display.

Sabbath mode The illumination does not change when the door is opened, the

timer and alarms are temporarily deactivated.

Activating

▸ Preparing for the Sabbath: Touch the button.

▸ Select the button until appears flashing.

▸ Confirm with the button.

▸ Select the desired duration (30, 54 or 78 hours)

using the / buttons.

▸ Confirm with the button.

– The function is activated. The display,

visual and acoustic warnings are turned off.

– The display element is no longer shown

in the display after a minute or after the refri-

gerator compartment door is closed.

Deactivating

▸ Hold the button depressed for 3 seconds.

– The function is deactivated; the illumina-

tion and display are switched on.
