i-FAX Settings TX/RX i-FAX Protocol

Display whether an i-FAX connection is available or
not. Configure i-FAX in [i-FAX (SMTP & POP3)] on
the Protocol Settings page.
SMTP SMTP Server Name

Enter the SMTP server name or SMTP server IP
address. You can enter up to 64 characters.
If you enter the server name, you must specify the IP
address of the DNS server. You can enter the DNS
server IP address in the TCP/IP settings screen.

SMTP Port Number Set the port number used by SMTP. Normally, 25 is
used.
SMTP Server Timeout Enter the timeout period in seconds.
Authentication Protocol
Specify whether SMTP authentication will be used or
whether [
POP before SMTP
] will be used.

Timeout
If you selected [POP before SMTP] in the
authentication setting, specify the timeout period in
seconds.
Connection Test Tests to confirm that the settings on this page are
correct. When the [Test] button is clicked, this
machine tries to connect to the SMTP server.
Domain Restriction Activate or deactivate to restrict domains. Click the
[Domain List] button to configure. Enter a domain
name that is permitted or rejected. You can also
specify the E-mail addresses.
