During the rst few uses, the appliance may produce smoke and
unpleasant odors due to the evaporation of certain manufacturing
oils. These will gradually disappear in subsequent operating
cycles.
Liquids or other foods should not be heated in sealed containers,
as they may explode.
To avoid burns, do not use containers lled with liquids or food
products that become uid when heated beyond levels that can
be easily observed (Europe: IEC 60335-2-42: 2002 / AMD1: 2008).
Heating beverages may result in delayed eruptive boiling, so care
should be taken when handling the container.
Before consumption, the contents of baby bottles and jarred baby
food should be stirred or shaken, and the temperature should be
checked to avoid burns.
Use only utensils and containers appropriate for the selected
cooking mode (fast or traditional).
Microwave heating of eggs in their shells or whole hard-boiled
eggs may cause a risk of explosion, even after heating has
nished.
