5 Setup

Local Parameters

Set local parameters for your PC, including smart, video, recording and snapshot.

NOTE!

The local parameters displayed may vary with camera model.

Go to Setup > Common > Local Parameters.

Set local parameters as needed.

Smart

Intelligent Mark

This function shall be used with Cross Line Detection, Intrusion Detection, Enter

Area, Leave Area, Mixed-Traffic Detection, and Face Detection.

Object Attributes When enabled, the attributes of detected objects appear on the live view page.

Font Size Set the font size of object attributes, including

Large

,

Medium

, and

Small

.

Display Human

Body Snapshot

When enabled, human body snapshots appear on the live view page.

NOTE!

Only effective when face detection is enabled.

Video

Display Mode

Set the display mode according to the network status, including

Min. Delay

,

Balanced

, and

Fluent

(from low delay to high delay). You may also customize

the display mode as needed.

Protocol

Set the protocol used to transmit media streams to be decoded by the PC,

including

TCP

and

UDP

.

Recording and

Snapshot

Recording

 Subsection By Time: Length of each local recording file. For example, 2

minutes.

 Subsection By Size: Size of each local recording file. For example, 10MB.
