3.3. DEVICE USE
PLEASE NOTE: Before starting work, carefully read the
operating instructions.
3.3.1. BEFORE YOU OPERATE THE MACHINE
1) Do not connect the machine to the mains and make
sure that the machine is unplugged until you have
prepared both the machine and the working area for
work.
2) Before you start cleaning set out the appropriate
warning signs and sweep or wipe the surface to be
cleaned.
3) Check that there are no traces of leaks where the
machine was parked which might be an indication
that the machine has been damaged or is leaking.
4) Make sure that the cleaning head brush and the
squeegee bar are properly assembled.
5) Check the condition of the dirty water tank. If
necessary, empty and clean it before starting work. In
order to empty the tank, remove the plug (16) from
the drain hose and point the hose outlet downwards.
6) Check the condition of the clean water tank. If
necessary, ll it with clean water at <50°C and add
detergent as recommended by the manufacturer. To
add water/detergent to the tank, unscrew the clean
water tank cover (10).
PLEASE NOTE: Use only cleaning agents for
automatic machines (low-foaming) and follow the
instructions for use, disposal and warnings provided
by the manufacturer.
3.3.2. OPERATION
1) TOPCLEAN 850 - check the battery charge status.
If it is too low, connect the device and charge the
battery. Insert the power cord plug to the power
supply, and the other end to the charging socket on
the machine. Monitor charging observing the LEDs
on the charge level indicator. When the battery is
fully charged, disconnect the charger. The machine
is ready for use.
2) TOPCLEAN 1000 - connect the device to a power
source.
3) Adjust the handle tilt in accordance with your
personal preferences using the tilt adjustment lever
(5).
4) Using the lever (6), lower the squeegee so that its
edge is in contact with the ground.
5) To turn the device on, press the On/O (22) button
on the control panel. Use the buttons (20) and (21)
to switch the suction motor or brush motor on/
o. The LEDs (19) indicate that a given button has
been activated. In order to start work, i.e., to start
the motors turned on with buttons (20) and (21),
press and hold the safety lock button rst (2), and
then press the start buttons (4) on both sides of the
holder.
7) When cleaning the surface do not stop. Otherwise
you may damage the oor material by too much
brushing.
8) The driving speed of the machine should be adapted
to the type of ooring and the amount of dirt on the
oor.
9) Watch the machine in operation. Excessive foaming
deteriorates the eciency of scrubbing and may
even damage the machine. Pay attention to the
proper dosing of the cleaning agent.
10) If the oor is heavily soiled, it is recommended to
pre-soak the surface to be cleaned with water and
detergent.
11) If the dirty water tank is lled, the oat in the tank
will prevent further suction of water from the cleaned
surface. Stop the machine immediately, disconnect it
from the power supply (TOPCLEAN 1000 model) and
empty the dirty water tank.
12) TOPCLEAN 850: when you have nished work,
remember to turn the machine o. TOPCLEAN 1000:
when you have nished work, remember to turn the
machine o and disconnect the power cord from the
mains.
13) Using a dirty water drain hose, drain the waste water
from the dirty water tank to appropriate drainage
installation.
14) Drain clean water using the clean water drain if the
machine is not intended to be used any more. To do
this, unscrew the drain cover, the position of which is
indicated by an arrow in the gure below.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Keep the device away from hot surfaces. The device should
always be used on an even, stable, clean, reproof surface,
and out of reach of children and people with limited mental
functions. Position the device such that you always have
access to the power plug. The power cord connected to the
appliance must be properly grounded and correspond to
the technical details on the product label.
Squeegee bar assembly
• The squeegee bar is screwed to the device using the
two screws described in the gure below as „a”.
• The squeegee rubber is attached to the bar by
means of wing nuts.
• Adjust the height of the rubber using the wheel
indicated in the gure as „b“.

3.3.3. HAZARDS IN THE COURSE OF USING THE DEVICE
The hazards that can occur during use of the machine
are mechanical hazards. The mechanical hazard occurs
in situations in which injuries can result from mechanical
impact of various elements, e.g. machine parts, tools,
etc. on people. The basic mechanical hazards include
squeezing, crushing, cutting, pulling in or catching; impact;
puncture; abrasion; as well as slipping and stumbling. These
hazards can occur both during normal machine operation
and as a result of irregularities in machine operation. These
irregularities might result in machine failure.
The mechanical hazards can result from: moving machines,
transported loads, moving elements, sharp/ rough
elements, dropping elements/loads, slippery uneven
surfaces, limited space, location of the work station in
relation to the ground.
3.3.4. INSPECTIONS AND PERIODIC CONTROL
Before being used, the new or repaired machine must
be checked by qualied technical personnel who have
knowledge and experience within the scope of operation
and maintenance of this type of machine. The machine
must be checked regularly by means of visual control of
the machine’s condition, before, during and after use. The
check must be performed by the machine’s operators. Any
irregularities in machine operation as well as any damage
must be reported to the proper technical personnel. Do
not use the machine if damage or any irregularities in its
operation were found.
NOTE: Disconnect the machine from the power supply
before each inspection.
• PRELIMINARY INSPECTION: Before rst use. All new
or repaired machines must be checked by a qualied
and competent person to ensure the machine meets
the requirements of this operating manual.
• DAILY CHECK:
» brush wear check
» control buttons eciency check
» squeegee wear check
• PERIODIC CHECK:
» checking the wear and condition of the water system
seals
» moving parts fasteners check
» water lter condition check
» battery status check.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Before cleaning, any adjustment, replacement of
accessories, and when the device is not in use:
• TOPCLEAN 850 - turn the machine o. Then
wait until the rotating parts come to a stop and
disconnect the machine from the battery power
supply.
• TOPCLEAN 1000 - switch the device o and
disconnect it from the power source. Then wait
for the rotating elements to stop.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e) Never spray the device with water.
f) Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
g) Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
h) The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical eciency and spot any damage.
i) Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
j) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
k) Do not clean the machine with steam jets.
l) Empty and rinse the dirty water tank after each use.
m) After use, check the condition of the suction system
components to prevent it from blocking.
n) Make sure that the system is regularly rinsed with
clean water and that the machine lters are cleaned.
o) After each use, clean the squeegee rubber.

Now, the safety lock button can be released. The
device will automatically stop working after the
buttons (4) have been released.
6) The amount of detergent and water released by the
device can be adjusted by means of a valve. The
position of the valve is indicated by an arrow in the
gure below. Please note adjust the amount of water
released only when the machine cleaning head is not
turning.
