This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path

ofleastresistanceforelectriccurrenttoreducetheriskofelectricshock.Thisapplianceisequipped

withacordhavinganequipmentgroundingconductorandgroundingplug.Theplugmustbeinserted

into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes

and ordinances.

WARNING -Improperconnectionoftheequipmentgroundingconductorcanresultinariskofelectric

shock.Checkwithaqualiedelectricianorservicepersonifyouareindoubtastowhethertheoutlet

isproperlygrounded.Donotmodifytheplugprovidedwiththeappliance,ifitwillnotttheoutlet,

haveaproperoutletinstalledbyaqualiedelectrician.

Thisapplianceisforuseonanominal120-voltcircuitandhasagroundingattachmentplugthatlooks

like the plug illustrated in sketch (A). Make sure that the appliance is connected to an outlet having

thesamecongurationastheplug.Noadaptorshouldbeusedwiththisappliance.

When the Machine is Delivered

1. Check the carton for signs of shipping damage.

2. Remove the machine from the carton and look for damage.

Ifthemachineisdamaged,notifythecarrierimmediatelyandrequestaninspection.Besuretokeep

thecarton,packinginserts,packinglists,andcarrier’sreceiptuntiltheinspectorhasveriedyour

claim.
