Troubleshooting

Fault Possible causes Remedy

1. Saw blade comes

loose after the

engine is turned

off.

• Mounting nut has not been suf-

ciently tightened.

• Tighten the mounting nut; right-hand thread.

2. Engine does not

start

• Failure power protection

• Extension cable defective

• Connections to motor or switch not

• Check the mains fuse

• Replace the extension cable

3. Motor wrong rota-
