Reporting Events

Report missing speed camera

You can easily report missing speed cameras by short pressing the primary center button

once. Tom will confirm your action by filling in the light ring with a blue color and a

confirmation sound.

Confirm an existing speed camera

If you receive an alert for a speed camera and you want to confirm the speed camera is still

there, short press the primary center button once. Tom will confirm your action by filling in

the light ring with a blue color and a confirmation sound.

Report an obstacle

Reporting obstacles is possible by pressing the primary center button (long-press until

confirmation). Tom will confirm your action by filling in the light ring with a yellow color and a

confirmation sound.

Confirm an existing obstacle

If you receive an alert for an obstacle on the road and you want to confirm the obstacle is still

there, short press the primary center button once. Tom will confirm your action by filling in the

light ring with a yellow color and a confirmation sound.

Remove a false warning

Getting a false alert for a speed camera or obstacle that is gone already? Then tap the

secondary button at the side of Tom. Tom will confirm your action by emptying the colored

light ring together with a confirmation sound

Pairing

Power on

To power on Tom, press and hold the top button for at least three seconds until

the device switches on. A white light appears transitioning to red.

Pairing mode and AutoStart

When Tom tries to pair a smartphone, it lights up white. When pairing is

successful, the color changes to green.

A pulsating white LED indicates Tom is unable to pair to a smartphone.

Green

status

blink

A pulsating green lighting indicates a successful connection between Tom and

the smartphone. The Green status blink can be switched off by the user in the

Sound & lights menu.
