dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance intended to be carried out by the user must
not be carried out by children without supervision.
4. Supervise children in order that they do not play with the
appliance.
5. Do not use the oven when it is empty or without the glass plate.
6. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity, follow these
precautions:
a) remove the metal straps from the paper or plastic bags before
placing the bag in the oven;
b) if smoke develops in the oven or a fire occurs, disconnect the
power cable and turn the TIME knob to 0 leaving the door
closed to smother the flames;
c) do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave
paper products, kitchen utensils or food in the cavity when not
in use;
7. Liquids or other foods should not be heated in sealed containers
as they may explode.
8. Heating beverages in the microwave may cause delayed
eruptive boiling, so be careful when handling the container.
9. Do not fry food in the oven. Hot oil can damage oven parts and
tools and even cause skin burns.
10. Eggs in shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated
in microwave ovens as they could explode even after the
microwave heating has ended.
11. Pierce thick-peeled foods such as potatoes, whole pumpkins,
apples, and chestnuts before cooking.
12. The contents of baby bottles and jars should be stirred or
shaken and the temperature should be checked before serving
to avoid burns.
13. Kitchen utensils can become hot due to the heat transferred
from the heated food. Use suitable protective equipment to
handle the tool.
14. Tools must be checked to make sure they are suitable for use
in the microwave oven.
