BUTTON DESCRIPTION
UNIT: To select the weight/volume lb/g/fl'oz/oz/ml function
ON/OFF/TARE: ON/OFF, ZERO/TARE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Open the battery compartment cover under the scale.
2. Insert 2 UM4/AAA batteries, paying attention to the correct polarity and close the cover.
3. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
4. Place the bowl or any other container on the scale platter before you switch it on.
5. Press the ‘’ON/TARE’ button to switch on the instrument.
6. The display will show "-18.8.8.8." for approximately 2 seconds, after which “0.0” is displayed, and then
the scale is ready to weigh.
7. To change the unit of measurement, as soon as the display shows “0.0”, press the “UNIT” key to
choose lb/g/oz/fl’oz/oz/ml.
8. Put the food to be weighed in the bowl; the display will show the measured weight.
USEFUL SUGGESTIONS:
• When switching on the scale, if nothing appears on the display, check that the batteries have been
inserted correctly. If the problem persists, the batteries may be low, in which case replace them with
new batteries of the same type.
• Always wait until the display shows “0.0” before putting the food to be weighed on the platform.
• Press the 'ON/OFF/TARE' button to switch off the appliance. Otherwise, the appliance will
automatically switch off after approximately 90 seconds.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the low battery symbol (LO) appears on the display or the values indicated are inaccurate, replace the
battery.
1. Open the battery compartment cover located under the scale.
2. Remove the discharged batteries and replace them with two new batteries of type UM4/AAA. Close
the cover.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
• When changing the battery, do not press too hard on the weighing plate.
• If the product is not used for an extended period of time, it is recommended to remove the batteries.
OVERLOAD INDICATOR
1. When the Product is overloaded (above 5 kg), the display shows “O-Ld”.
