10.2. Microphone Connection
Attach the TS-D1000-M1 Standard microphone or TS-D1000-M2 Long microphone to the Conference unit as
shown below.

10.3. Connection Test
It is possible to conrm whether all Conference units are correctly connected following system setup.
Step 1. Press the Connection test key on the Master control unit’s top panel for 3 seconds or more.
The unit is placed in Connection test mode, causing the Connection test indicator to light and all
connected microphones’ In-use indicators to ash.

Step 2. Visually check to conrm that the microphone’s In-use indicators
of all connected Conference units are ashing.
Conference units displaying ashing microphone’s In-use
indicators are correctly connected.
If any units have Microphone indicators that do not ash, check
the connection between the unresponsive Conference unit and its
microphone, as well as the connection between that Conference
unit and the Master control unit or Sub control unit.
Step 3. Press the Connection test key again for 3 seconds to terminate
the Connection test mode.
This causes both the Connection test and microphone’s In-use
indicators to extinguish.
Note
Even if connected correctly, there are cases in which the Connection test indicator continues to ash due
to such reasons as ID number (device identication number) setting irregularities. In such cases, turn the
TS-D1000-MU’s Power switch OFF, then ON again while holding down the Connection test key. Since the
ID number has been reset, restart the conrmation process again from Step 1.
