Equipment operation upon failure detection (1)
ThebuzzersoundsandtheFailureindicatorflashesyellow.
In this event, a failure not related to communications has occurred within the system. If the failure is acknowledged
byanysystemcomponent,the buzzerstopsand theyellowFailureindicatorlightswitchesfromflashing to
steady on mode. (Refer to "Failure acknowledgment" on p. 57). Resetting the failure at the VM-3360VA or
VM-3240VAcausestheFailureindicatortogoout.However,ifthecauseofthefailurehasnotbeenremedied,
the unit will again return to failure status. (Refer to "Failure reset operation" on p. 58).

ThefunctionofacknowledgingthespecifiedfailuremustbeassignedtotheRM-320F’skeyinadvanceusing
thesettingsoftware.(Referto"EventSettings"->"RMFunctionKeySettings"->"RM-320FSettings"inthe
separate software instruction manual.)

The Communications Failure indicator flashes yellow.
A failure has occurred in communications between the RM-300MF and the VM-3240VA or VM-3360VA. The
previous status is automatically restored if communications return to normal.
