(2) The rangefinder focus range will vary from different camera models;

Install the lens to a camera with rangefinder focus function
(such as Leica M series cameras);
Look at the viewfinder frame and turn the focus ring so that the overlapping image
of the rangefinder area coincides with the subject
(as shown in the picture below).
