VALVE USE

Consult the included valve instructions for inﬂating, deﬂating and bleeding

your sleeping pad. Digital versions and instructional videos are available

online at thermarest.com.

STORAGE

We recommend leaving the valve open and storing your sleeping pad rolled

tight in a stuff sack to protect it from dirt and sharp objects.

FIELD REPAIR

Our Repair Kits make your sleeping pad repairs simple and effective.

Follow the kit’s included instructions and use the self-adhesive patch to

carefully cover the puncture. For additional information or repair videos,

visit thermarest.com/warranty.

CLEANING

Periodic cleaning is recommended to prevent food, oils or other materials

from degrading your sleeping pad. Fully inﬂate the sleeping pad and close the

valve. Use a soft bristle brush and any mild household degreasing cleaner or

detergent. Rinse and leave unrolled to dry. Never store your sleeping pad wet.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

B Your sleeping pad is warrantied for the life of the product against

defects in materials and workmanship.

B Should the sleeping pad be found defective under the warranty,

Therm-a-Rest, at its option, will repair or replace the sleeping pad.

Sleeping pades older than two years from the date of manufacture

may be replaced with a cosmetically irregular sleeping pad.

· Normal wear, puncture, abrasion, misuse, alteration, abuse, or

disassembly of the product are not covered.

· Therm-a-Rest will not be liable for incidental or consequential

damages. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation

of incidental or consequential damages, so the above

limitations may not apply.

· Shipping charges to an Authorized Repair Shop for a damaged

sleeping pad are not covered and are the responsibility of the

customer. Return shipping charges for the repaired sleeping

pad are covered.

REPAIR SHOP & WARRANTY

FOR NORTH AMERICAN CUSTOMERS

B To start a repair order or warranty claim, visit thermarest.com/

warranty and follow the instructions under “Send It To Our

Repair Shop”.

B After you create a return authorization number and ship your

sleeping pad to us, give our team 3-4 weeks for your gear to be

processed, evaluated and returned.

B If you have any questions about the status of your repair/warranty,

please contact us with your Return Authorization Number for

easy tracking.

TIPS TO PROTECT YOUR SLEEPING PAD

B Partially deﬂate your sleeping pad when leaving

it inﬂated during the day, especially in your tent

or car on a hot day. Barometric pressure and

signiﬁcant changes in temperature and weather

will affect your sleeping pads’ inﬂation and

possibly damage it.

B Never set up your sleeping pad on rocks or

sharp surfaces.

B Use a ground cloth beneath the sleeping pad if

you aren’t sleeping in a tent.

B Do not use your sleeping pad as a ﬂotation device.

B Do not expose sleeping pad to ﬂame or sparks.

B Do not pressurize sleeping pad with high-pressure

pumps (over 2 psi).

B Do not contaminate the sleeping pad with Deet-

based insect repellants, sunscreen, or chlorine.

B Do not expose sleeping pad to long periods of

direct sunlight. Ultraviolet rays gradually destroy

the coated fabric.

B Always carry the sleeping pad in a stuff sack or

other protective bag.

B Keep sleeping pads away from your pets. Dogs

love to chew the valves, and cats like to sharpen

their claws on the sleeping pad.
