PASSING A COIN THROUGH YOUR LEG
For this trick, you will make a coin travel miraculously through your leg. Show your audience the coin, holding it between
the thumb and index ngers of your right hand (Image 1). Place the coin on your right pants leg, pressing the coin down
on your leg with your thumb down. With your left hand pull a bit of your pants leg up and over the coin (Images 2 and 3).
This motion is important! Pull the hidden coin out with your right thumb under the ngers of your left hand and place it
secretly under your right leg. It will seem to your audience that the coin is still under your left hand. Your left hand should
be turned up during this motion in order to show your audience that it is empty (Image 4), and when the pants leg is
unfolded — the coin has vanished! Now slowly pull the coin out from under your knee, as though it had moved through
your leg by magic (Image 5).
COIN ON FINGER
For this trick, take any card from a pack of cards or one of the cards from your magic box and one coin which is not too
light but also not too heavy. Bet one of your viewers that you can ick a card out from under a coin and have the coin
remain on your nger. Let them inspect the card and the coin. Now place the card on your outstretched index nger and
place the coin on the center of it (Images 2 and 3). If you now ick the card at its corner, it will y out from under the coin
while the coin remains on your nger. It is important with this trick that you always ick the card by its corner, and never
against its edge. You should ick the card so that the onlooker doesn’t guess that you icked it at its corner. Ask the viewer
to repeat what you just did. They won’t be able to!
COIN THROUGH A HANDKERCHIEF
For this trick, borrow a cloth handkerchief and a coin (preferably a quarter). Take the coin in your right hand between your
thumb and index ngers. Cover it with the handkerchief. Make sure that the longer end of the handkerchief is facing the
viewers. Now pretend you are grabbing the coin and the cloth from the outside with your left hand. In fact, you should
only grab the cloth and lift it up gently (Image 2). Take your right hand with the coin out from under the cloth and pass the
cloth over from your left hand to the right (Image 3). When doing so, place the coin which you hold now in your right hand
behind the cloth at the place where the viewers assume the coin will be (Image 4). Now wrap the handkerchief around the
coin so that its outline appears visibly to your audience. Because the coin is not underneath the handkerchief but behind
it, you can now pull it out from the cloth.
