SCIENCE! The water is following the force of gravity. When

you turn the paper one way, the water runs into the closed

chamber of the pouch. When you turn it the other way, it

runs out again.

TIP

Definitely practice this

first before taping the

pouch into the

newspaper. Take a look

at how the water flows

from one chamber into

the other.

Now, slowly pour

water into the

pouch.

I read about

a neat trick

in this paper.

Fold the paper

together so that you can pour the water

into the bag’s opening.

Turn the paper upside down, to

make the water ﬂow into the

closed chamber of the pouch.

Turn the paper

right side up

again and

pour the water

into the cup.

When I fold the

paper up like this,

I can pour water into

it without any

running out.

The neat thing is, it

isn’t just that the water

doesn’t run out. It has

even disappeared!

Of course,

only as long

as I want it

to disappear.
