Note! After you pick
the dandelion, a whitish
sap will drip out of the
stalk. Be careful not to
get any on your clothes
— the stains are hard to
wash out.

Plants are made of tiny building
blocks called cells. Only when
plant cells are well supplied with
water will they be firm and solid,
giving the plant structure and
stability. If they don’t have water,
they will be limp and the plant
will collapse.
Make a lengthwise cut
in the dandelion stalk
before placing it in the
water. That way, you will
get funny-looking curls.
