Chapter 2 Initial Assembly

Fuel Cell 10

Chassis

fter you have attached

the front axle and the

three wheels to the chassis,

you can install the motor and

transmission unit onto the

chassis.

This unit comes pre-

assembled and

needs only to be

mounted to the

left rear of the

chassis.

As shown in steps 3

and 4, ﬁrst attach the mo-

tor unit to the chassis from

underneath, and then secure

it with two screws.

Tighten the screws ﬁrmly so

the wheel is stable, ensuring

the car drives smoothly.

Note: Do not disassemble the motor and transmission unit!

Note:

To make the

transmission

run smoothly,

you can add

some multipur-

pose lubricant

to the gears.

Warning:

The motor wires

must be secured

here. Otherwise,

there is a chance

that the solder

joints on the mo-

tor might break.

Note:

Attach the

two screws

from the bot-

tom.
