Information on use
Warranty Information
Warranty repairs may only be carried out by an authorised service centre. When
making a warranty claim, the original purchase invoice (with date of purchase)
must be presented.
The warranty does not apply in case of:
• normal wear and tear
• improper use, e.g. overloading of the device, use of non-approved accessories
• forced use, damage caused by external influences
• damage caused by non-compliance with the operating instructions, e.g. connection
to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the installation instructions.
• partially or completely disassembled appliances
Attention
Keep the unit at least 1 metre away from TV or radio to avoid electromagnetic interference.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight to avoid fading of surface colours.
Do not tilt the unit more than 35° or turn it upside down during transportation.
Place the unit on a flat surface at an angle of less than 5°.
The unit operates more efficiently in certain positions in the room (see technical
specifications).
Empty the condensate drip tray before storing the unit to prolong its life at the end of the
season.
Do not use chemical solvents (e.g. benzene, alcohol-glazer) to clean the surface of the unit
to avoid scratching and damaging it.
Be sure to turn off the power supply before dismantling or installing the air inlet barrier.
If you want to move the machine, empty the water from the tank.
The battery must be removed from the machine before it is scrapped.
The battery must be disposed of safely.
The plug must be removed before cleaning, servicing or filling the machine.
