Auto Shutdown
The safety feature of the hob is auto shut down. This occurs whenever you forget to
switch o a cooking zone. The default shutdown times are shown in the table below:
Using the Timer
The time can used in two ways:
1. As a minute minder: In this case, the timer will not
turn any cooking zone o when the set time is up.
2. As a cut-o timer: To turn one or more cooking zones o after time is up.
Note: The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes.
Using the timer as a minute minder
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on, and the zone selection
key is not activated (zone indication is not blinking).
Note: The minute minder can be set before or after setting the power level.
2. Touch timer button, 00 will show in the timer display and 0 will blink.
3. Set the time by using the or button.
4. Touch the timer button again, then 0 will flash.
5. Set the time by touching the or button. For example, 95 minutes will show.
6. When the time is set, it will begin to count down immediately. The display will show the remaining time.
7. The buzzer will beep for 30 seconds and the timer shows when the timer is finished.
