INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: The gas cooker must be installed by a competent person to the relevant Gas Standards.
Please, ensure that, once the gas cooker is installed, it is easily accessible for the engineer in the event of a breakdown.
WHEN THE GAS COOKER IS FIRST INSTALLED
Once the gas cooker has been installed, it is important to remove any protective packaging materials. Any gas installation
must be carried out by a competent person.
Important: When installing the gas cooker above a built-in oven, the oven should be placed on two wooden strips; in the
case of a joining cabinet surface, remember to leave a space of at least 45 x 560 mm at the back.
When installing on a built-in oven without forced ventilation, ensure that there are air inlets and outlets for ventilating the
interior of the cabinet adequately.
GAS CONNECTION (SEE FIGURE 3)
- A: Male thread
- B: Washer
- C: Connector nut
- D: Barb connector for hose
The appliance's gas inlet tting is a 1/2" male thread (A). Make the connection using rigid pipe.
When making the gas connection, it is import to place the washer (B) in between the inlet pipe connector nut (C) and
the male thread (A), to ensure a gas tight seal. Nozzle or cone tted dependent on national situations in countries of
destination.
ELECTRICAL PART
The gas hob has electrical ignition; therefore, it must be installed by a qualied electrician or serviceman to ensure that the
electrical supply has proper voltage and ampere rating.
The unit is rmly grounded as shown below, the power wire should not be touched to hot surface and the temperature
around the wire should be less than 75 degrees.
After installation, the plug must be accessible to ensure an easy disconnection.
GAS ADJUSTMENT
To regulate the gas ow, use the at screw located to the left of the controls on each burner (below the knobs). Turn it to
the right to reduce the ow and to the left to increase it. This operation must only be carried out by qualied professionals
and never by the user.
1. Turn off the gas by turning the knob to the symbol “●”
2. Remove the knob from the tap by pulling up and place a small at blade screwdriver right next to the tap shaft as shown
in below gure.
3. The correct adjustment is obtained when the ame has a length of about 3-4 mm.
- Ret the control knob.
