USE AND CARE

• Keep the device in good condition. Check that moving
parts are not misaligned or stuck, that there are no broken
parts or other conditions that could affect the proper
functioning of the appliance.

INSTALLATION
• Be sure to remove all packaging material from inside the
device.
• Make sure that the device is unplugged from the mains
before starting any installation or assembly operation.
• Remove the motor from the packaging. To avoid
damaging the housing surfaces, mount the motor on a
soft surface.
• In order to avoid electric shock, make sure that the power
supply has been previously disconnected.
• The electrical installation must be carried out in
accordance with current regulations, connecting the fan to
ground as a precaution against possible electric shocks.
It is recommended that the installation be done by a
professional.
• Install the fan at a minimum distance of 2.50 meters from
the ground or other objects.
FAN INSTALLATION
• See the installation steps at the beginning of this
instruction manual.
• In the package you will nd the material for xing the
support to the ceiling (wood and concrete). This material
is not suitable for depending on what type of roof
(suspended ceiling). Ask a professional and use the xing
means that you think are most appropriate.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY/S
• This appliance uses a pair of 1,5V AAA batteries.
• Caution: During the handling of batteries, do not touch
both poles at the same time, as this will provoke the
partial discharge of the stocked energy therefore affecting
longevity.
• Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
• Check that the plastic covering that protects the battery
has been removed (some batteries are sold with a
protective covering)
• Put the battery in its compartment, respecting the polarity.
• Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
• It is essential that the batteries should always be the
same kind and the same charge. Never mix alkaline
batteries with Carbon-Zinc ones and/or rechargeable
ones.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• DO NOT charge rechargeable batteries while they are
still in the appliance as it may cause internal gas or heat
