o After once synchronizing with timecode from an Atomos UltraSync Blue or a timecode generator, along
with ordinary connection, it is possible to make it jam sync even if it becomes disconnected by setting it to
FREE RUN.
o The FR-AV4 can become a timecode generator and provide timecode to a camera. (See “Timecode functions”
on page 119.)
