Right side panel
p (headphone) volume knob
Use this to adjust the volume output from the
(headphone) jack and for wireless audio
monitoring.
a TC IN jack
Use a 3.5mm cable (TS or TRS) to connect this with
the timecode output connector of an external
device.
s TC OUT jack
Use a 3.5mm cable (TS or TRS) to connect this
with a device that receives timecode.
Make timecode output settings in order to use
the TC OUT jack. (See “Outputting timecode” on
page 123.)
d Switch
Use this to turn the unit on and o.

CAUTION
Before turning the unit on, lower the volumes of
connected equipment to their minimum levels.
Failure to do so might cause sudden loud noises,
which could harm hearing or result in other trouble.
f (headphone) jack
Connect headphones to this jack.
g /EXT IN (3/4) jack
This can be connected to an external mic (3.5mm
TRS) that supports plug-in power, a camera or an
audio device.
h Input jacks 3/4 (Inputs 3/4)
These balanced analog inputs combine XLR mic
and standard TRS jacks.
XLR (1: GND, 2: HOT, 3: COLD)
TRS (Tip: HOT, Ring: COLD, Sleeve: GND)
