*1 Please note, when shooting between 0.15 m (5.9") to 0.2 m (7.9") distance, the image quality at periphery will decrease. It is

recommended that you place your focus at center of image.

Also, pay attention to your lens ﬁlter and lens tip when shooting at close range. You may touch your subject.

ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE LENS

Remove the rear cap of the lens. Align the lens attachment mark ⑪ and mounting mark on the camera, and then insert the lens.

Turn the lens clockwise for Sony E-mount lens / FUJIFILM X mount lens / CANON RF mount lens or counterclockwise for Nikon Z mount

lens mounts until it locks.

To remove the lens, turn the lens in the opposite direction while pressing the lens release button on the camera.

• Turn off the power of the camera before attaching or removing the lens.

• For details, please read the instruction manual of your camera.

SWITCHING FOCUS MODE (Ref. Fig. 1

 For Sony E-mount lens / FUJIFILM X mount lens / Nikon Z mount lens

Select the desired focus mode on the camera.

For manual focusing, turn the focus ring ⑨ to acquire the desired focus.

 For CANON RF mount lens: AF/MF Switching

Set the AF/MF switch ⑭ on the lens to AF when shooting with autofocus (AF). (Ref. Fig. 2)

Set the AF/MF switch ⑭ on the lens to MF when shooting with manual focus (MF). (Ref. Fig. 2)

For manual focusing, turn the focus ring ⑨ to acquire the desired focus.

• Under AF mode, there may be difﬁculty for autofocus to work depending on the subject.

• For Nikon Z mount lens, under the AF mode setting, the focus ring ⑨ will act as “Control Ring” and can apply functions from

the camera.

• For details, please read the instruction manual of your camera.

CONNECTOR PORT (Ref. Fig. 1) *For Nikon Z mount lens / CANON RF mount lens

Lenses with the connector port ⑬ can be connected to a computer using the TAMRON connection cable (sold separately). Then, using

the dedicated “TAMRON Lens Utility

” application, you will be able to update the ﬁrmware.
