Problem Cause Solution
The target mark
flashes when
switched on.
The battery is running
low.
You can still take around
100 measurements.
Replace the battery as
soon as possible.
Display, target
mark, and target
object are either not
simultaneously sharp
or not visible.
The diopter setting is
not optimal.
See Section 3.4 Diopter
adjustment.
“Err” appears on the
display.
Electronic fault
Press the measurement
button again. If “Err” is
permanently displayed,
please contact

9. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
9.1 LENS-CLEANING CLOTH
With the included microfiber lens-cleaning cloth you can
clean even the most sensitive glass surfaces. It is ideal for
objective lenses, eyepieces, and eyeglasses. Please keep the
cloth clean, as dirt can damage the lens surface. Simply wash
it in lukewarm soapy water and leave to air dry. Please only
use it for cleaning glass surfaces.
