Advanced Analytics: Face Recognition
Setup: Click the “Setup” button to change the default video analytic settings,
such as the minimum pixel size for facial recognition and the detection area
(see page 65 - Face Recognition Settings).
Mode: Two choices are available. Select “FR” to enable facial recognition and
record an event whenever the camera detects a face in the designated detec-
tion area. Select “FR+PIR” to enable facial recognition and record an event
whenever the camera detects a face in the designated detection area, as well
as detecting movement with the camera’s built-in PIR sensor.
When facial recognition is enabled on the camera, the other advanced
analytics will be disabled, and vice-versa. It’s not possible to activate
multiple functions on the camera at the same time.
