Power Supply and Power Connections
For information about the power connections of the X14SBT-GAP motherboard, refer to the

Power Supply
As with all computer products, a stable power source is necessary for proper and reliable
operation. It is even more important for processors that have high CPU clock rates where noisy
power transmission is present.
The 12 V power connector for a power distributor board located at JPW1 on the X14SBT-GAP
motherboard provides main power to your GrandTwin server.
For detailed power supply support for your server, refer to your GrandTwin server user manual.
Power Connectors
JPW1 is the power connector to the power distributor board. JPMW1–JPMW6 are the 8-pin
power connectors for PCIe and GPU devices.
Headers and Connections
For information about the headers of the X14SBT-GAP motherboard, refer to the following
content.
AIOM Sideband Signal Headers
The AIOM slots on the motherboard have support for AIOM sideband headers. Use the
headers located at JAIOM1SB1 for AIOM1 and JAIOM2SB1 for AIOM2 for sideband
communication.

COM Header
There is one COM header on the X14SBT-GAP motherboard. Use a cable with the COM
header to access the COM1 COM port. COM ports provide serial communication support.
