2.2 Motherboard Installation
Mounting Holes
Notes:

To avoid damaging the motherboard and its components, do not use a force greater
than 8 lbf-in on each mounting screw during motherboard installation.
l
Some components are very close to the mounting holes. Take precautionary
measures to avoid damaging these components when installing the motherboard to
the chassis.
Types of Mounting Holes
There are two types of mounting holes that serve two different functions on the X14SBH
motherboard.
1. Mounting holes for built-in thumbscrews
l
These mounting holes are used for built-in thumbscrews that will help securely attach
the motherboard to the chassis.

2. Mounting holes for T-pins

These mounting holes are used for T-pins, which will help lock the motherboard to the
proper position on the chassis.
