Checking the Temperature of an NVMe Drive

There are two ways to check using the BMC Dashboard.

Checking a Drive

• BMC Dashboard > Server Health > NVMe SSD – Shows the temperatures of all NVMe

drives.

• BMC Dashboard > Server Health > Sensor Reading > NVME_SSD – Shows the single

highest temperature among all the NVMe drives.

Installing M.2 Drives

1. Power down the node as described in Section 2.3.

2. Remove the retaining screw from the mounting post.

3. Insert the M.2 SSD sideways into the connector on the motherboard so that it lays at,

then secure it to the mounting post with the screw.

4. Replace the blade and restore the power.
