2.5 Memory

Memory Support

Each motherboard supports up to 256 GB of DDR4 ECC LRDIMM memory with speeds of

up to 2933 MT/s in two DIMM slots. For validated memory, use our Product Resources page.

• For optimal performance, use memory of the same type, size, and speed. Mixed speeds

can be installed, but will run at the speed of the slowest DIMM.

Memory Population

The following memory population table was created based on guidelines provided by Intel to

support Supermicro motherboards.
