The m edia bay is protected by a watertight cover that is fastened by three or four
thum b screws (depending on m odel). Be sure to leave a drip loop in the cables as they
exit the m edia bay. Torque m edia bay thum bscrews to 4kgf.cm (add 3.5 in- lb and 0.4
Nm ).
Caution: Before m ounting the TV outdoors, use the thum bscrews to fasten the
m edia bay cover and ensure that it is watertight to prevent serious water
dam age to the TV.
Note: All installation m ust be conducted by trained and qualified technicians. We
are not responsible for any personal injury or dam age resulting from an
im properly sealed m edia bay cover.
