7. Drain and Expansion Valve Access

• The drain and expansion valve are both

accessible from the front of the case.

• Unplug the fans (one plug per side) and

remove the fastener from the access panel in

the front right (or left) corner of the unit (as

shown in illustration at right).

• The drain, thermostatic expansion valve (TXV)

and shut-off valve (optional, depending upon

model) are directly below the access panel.

• See illustration below for partially

disassembled model depicting shut-off valve,

drain, refrigeration lines, TXV, etc.
