Do not touch the fan while still in motion.
Turn off the blower and wait until the fan
stops before removing any part that may give
access to the fan. This reduces the risk of
injury from moving parts.

When clearing jammed material or servicing
the blower, make sure the power switch is
off. Unexpected starting of the blower while
clearing jammed material or servicing may
result in serious personal injury.
5.9 Information for Button Cell
a)
Remove and immediately recycle or dispose
of used batteries according to local regula‐
tions and keep away from children. Do NOT
dispose of batteries in household trash or
incinerate.

Even used batteries may cause severe injury
or death.

Call a local poison control center for treat‐
ment information.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged.

6 IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 Introduction
When using an electric blower, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the follow‐
ing:

6.2 Intended Use
WARNING
■ This blower is designed for blowing leaves,
grass, and similar material from yards, gar‐
dens, sidewalks, driveways, decks, patios and
comparable surfaces in the manner and in the
conditions described in this manual. Use of the
blower for operations different than intended
could result in serious injury or death.

blower.

Use the blower and batteries only as
described in this manual.

Never attempt to modify or override the
blower's controls or safety devices in any
way.

Never use a blower that has been modi‐
fied or altered from its original design.

and instructions for your batteries and
charger before charging or starting work.

This blower requires two STIHL AP series bat‐
teries to operate
STIHL recommends using pairs of the same
model battery to operate the blower.
STIHL recommends using at least an AP 300
for unrestricted use of all functions.
The STIHL AP battery and the Blower with
uses Bluetooth
®
technology to exchange infor‐
mation with mobile devices running the STIHL
connected App.
A non-replaceable 1654 button cell battery is
used in the blower's operating unit.
Batteries, chargers and other accessories are
sold separately.
6.3 Operator
