N - new maximum rotation speed
n- original maximum rotation speed
S- density of the tested sample
• Setting the maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF)
Press the RCF button (4), the display (1) shows the
value of the centrifugal force. Change the value
using buttons (5) and (6). When the displayed value
ashes twice, the setting is saved.
• Rotor selection
Press button (4) until the display shows the rotor
number. The last two digits of the number are
displayed, i.e. for the rotor no. 31277, the displayed
setting is 77.
When replacing the rotor with a dierent model, the
number on the device must be changed.
• Time setting
Set the timer using buttons (7) and (8), the current
value will be displayed on the display (2). When the
displayed value ashes twice, the setting is saved.
• Set the acceleration and deceleration values
To enter this option, the device must not be working.
Press and hold the STOP button (12) until the device
beeps and the time display (2) shows a value such as
„b8“.
Set the value using buttons (7) and (8). The device
has 10 speed settings (range from 0 to 9). The
higher the value is selected, the faster the rate of
deceleration and acceleration will be.
After setting the parameter, wait approx. 5 seconds,
the value will be saved automatically.
Note: The device is factory set to either „b4“ or „b5“.
6. The speed value is shown as standard on the display
(1). By pressing the RCF button (4), the following
parameter values will appear in turn on the display:
the rotor number, rotational speed and relative
centrifugal force.
7. To start the process, press the START button (11), and
the power LED (9) lights up green. The display will
show the current speed value (the set value will be
reached in about 1-2 minutes), and the countdown
time to the end of spinning.
8. To stop the device, press the STOP (12) button or
wait until the timer counts down to the value 0. The
LED (10) will turn red. The device will not be fully
stopped until the actual speed value is 0 on the
display. The device will beep after it has stopped
completely.
9. Release the lid by pressing the button (3). You will
hear a humming sound when the lid is unlocked,
then you can open it.
10. Remove the test tubes with centrifuged samples.
11. Switch the device o using the On/O button. Even
after the device is turned o, it is still live. Disconnect
the device from the power source when not in use.
12. After nishing work, check that there is no
condensation in the chamber of the device.
Condensation should be removed as soon as
possible with a sponge or a hose to prevent it from
entering the drive unit.
13. Leave the lid open until the chamber is completely
dry.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
f) Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
g) Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
h) The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical eciency and spot any damage.
i) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
j) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
k) Do not clean the device with an acidic substance,
agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or
other chemical substances because it may damage
the device.
l) If there is the concern that the device is contaminated
with toxic, pathogenic, radioactive substances or
infectious test tubes with blood that are harmful
to health promptly sterilize the equipment in
accordance to valid laboratory methods.
m) Periodically lubricate the central part of the rotor.
n) Avoid exposing the device to UV rays during
operation or storage. UV rays can cause discoloration
of the casing and the peeling of the surface. It is
recommended to cover the device during storage.
o) The device chamber, including the rotor drive, should
be cleaned once a month.
p) Never pour water, detergents, disinfectants, etc. into
the chamber of the device. This can damage the
device and cause corrosion.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The ambient temperature must not exceed 45°C and the
relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Only use the
device in well-ventilated areas. Do not obstruct the air outlet
of the device. Keep the device away from any hot surfaces.
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, reproof and dry surface, and be out of
the reach of children and persons with limited mental and
sensory functions. The valve that disables the compressed
air supply should be immediately accessible from the
area where the device is being used. Make sure that the
pressure of the air supplying the device does not exceed
the recommended range!
ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE
Place the device on a at, stable surface so that all four
rubber feet are rmly set on the surface.
Connect the power cord to the device and its other end to
a 230VAC socket. Please note: The power socket must be
grounded. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Do not use excessive force when installing the rotor. Do it
with care, so as not to damage the rotor or the drive shaft.
3.3. DEVICE USE
1. Check that the nut on the rotor has not loosened, if
so, tighten it.
2. Get the test tubes with a preparation ready for
centrifugation and place them in the device so that
they meet the following premises:
• the test tube should be lled to a maximum of 70%
of its total volume,
• place the test tubes symmetrically in the rotor.
• The sample-lled tubes placed opposite each other
must be of equal weight.
• Always verify the condition of the test tube used.
Do not insert cracked or deformed test tubes in the
device!
3. Close the device lid.
4. Switch the device connected to the power supply on,
using the ON/OFF button at the back of the device.
5. Set the device parameters.
• Speed setting
Set the speed value using buttons (5) and (6), the
current value will be shown on the display (1). When
the displayed value ashes twice, the setting is saved.
The maximum speed must not be exceeded.
Please note: If the density of the sample intended for
centrifugation exceeds 1.2 g/ml, the maximum speed value
should be recalculated acc. to the formula below:

y) Regularly clean the device‘s chamber as
recommended. Dirt on the drive shaft can cause the
rotor to fall and get damaged.
z) Remove the rotor before moving the machine to
avoid damaging the drive shaft.
