4. Use instruction:
a) Diameter of ring of the product should be within opening size of the crane hook and the
crane hook should have a safety pin.
b) Connect the product ring with the crane hook.
c) Chain sling is prohibited from twisting and knotting during use, to avoid collision. Thelifted
load object should be padded to prevent damage;
d) It is strictly forbidden to rotate when loaded;
e) It is strictly forbidden to shake when loaded;
f) If size of the product is too long, adjustment hook can be used to adjust it;
g) It is strictly forbidden to impact the product when loaded;
h) Operator of the product should wear safety helmet, well-fitting protective shoes and not
stand with objects attached to it.
i) Make sure the hook safety is fully clamped, leaving no gap;
j) Multi-chain need to checked for the bearing capacity in the parameter table and use it within
permissible load;
k) When unloading the personnel should stay away;
l) After the load landed smoothly, open safety pin of the hook and separate the product hook
from the load;
m) After product had been used for a while, apply grease to prevent oxidation of the surface of
the chain, and store in dry environment.
Periodic inspection and requirements
The appearance of the product should be inspected for cracks, deformations and twists before each
use. The product should not be used anymore and (non-repairable) replaced if one of the following
phenomenon occurs:
a) Ring and Hook
• Cracks: check the dangerous section at the lower part of the hook and the section of the
relief groove at the threaded part of the hook tail. If there is any crack, it should be
scrapped.
• Height wear of dangerous section of the hook reaches 10% of original size;
• Opening is increased by 10% compared with the original size
• Torsional deformation exceeds 10°;
• Plastic deformation of dangerous section or hook neck;
b) Chain
• Chain undergoes plastic deformation and when the elongation reaches 5% of the original
length;
• The wear between the chain rings and the contact parts between the chain ring and the
end fittings is reduced to 80% of the original diameter; the wear of other parts is reduced
to 90% of the original diameter;
• The dangerous section wear of the end fittings is reduced to 10% of the original size;
