Cleaning
Cleaning the appliance
Wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth.
Examinaon
Check the following before each use:
» If damage to the device is recognizable?
» If damage to the operang elements is recognizable?
» Are the accessories in perfect condion?
» Are all pipes in perfect condion?
» Is the inlet not blocked?
» Are the venlaon slots clear and clean?
Do not operate a damaged appliance or accessories. Have it checked and repaired by the manufacturer or its
customer service or a qualied specialist.
WARNING!
Risk of re and explosion!
The refrigerant circuit of the appliance contains highly ammable, odorless gas under high pressure. There is
a risk of re and explosion if refrigerant escapes in an uncontrolled manner.
» Only operate the device outdoors.
» Keep heat sources, naked ames and ignion sources away from the appliance.
» Only store the device in well-venlated areas.
Leakage
If liquid escapes from the heat pump, it may be condensaon water or pool water.the formaon of condensaon
water is unavoidable during heang operaon. The surface of the heat exchanger becomes cold, humidity in
the ambient air condenses and can even freeze in extreme cases.the appliance monitors the temperature and
automacally defrosts the heat pump if necessary. Any condensaon is drained via the base plate of the heat
pump and if pool water leaks out, check all connecons, pipes and adapters of the heat pump for leaks.
Storage
As soon as the outside temperature permanently falls below +5°C, the heat pump should be winterized in
order to avoid damage due to ice formaon (frost blasng).
Fixed piped water pipes do not necessarily have to be uninstalled. If the locaon of the heat pump is
protected from coarse contaminaon and strong weather inuences, it is sucient to completely
drain the water from the heat pump and the water pipes. Care is required here! Frost damage is not
covered by the warranty.
Decommissioning in winter
1. Disconnect all pipes (see Uninstalling on page 50)
2. Clean the heat pump thoroughly (see Cleaning on page 50)
3. Store the heat pump in a dry and frost-free place (>+5°C) once it is completely dry.
The heat pump is shut down for the winter.
