Problem: Cause: Solu on:
Pump motor does
not start
» The Drainage pump is not
connected to the socket.
» The residual current circuit
breaker of the mains
socket has been triggered.
» The mains socket fuse has
tripped
» Pump motor is too
hot and the overload
protec on has been
ac vated.
» Make sure that the appliance is connected to the
socket.
» Reset the residual current circuit breaker of the
mains socket. If the problem persists, contact a
qualifi ed electrician to have the socket checked.
» Reset the fuse. If the problem persists, contact
contact a qualifi ed electrician to fi nd and rec fy the
electrical fault.
» Do not allow the pump to run dry; allow the motor
to cool down for 30 minutes.
Does not pump
water or the
water fl ow is very
slow
» There is air in the pump
and in the hose.
» Deposits clog the
underside of the drainage
pump.
» Pool water is too
contaminated with large
foreign bodies.
» Pump is not si ng upright
on the pool fl oor.
» Water level is lower than
the base of the drainage
pump.
» Allow the air to escape completely from the pump
and the hose.
» Remove all deposits from the pump base.
» Remove large debris and par cles from the pool
fl oor and surface by fi rst using a skimmer or leaf
net and then draining the pool water.
» Ensure that the pump is always upright.
» Disconnect the mains plug from the socket if the
water level in the pool is lower than the pump base.
If the fault cannot be rec fi ed,
contact the customer service indicated on the last page..
