» The appliance must be supplied via a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of no
more than 30 mA.
» Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged or if the mains cable or plug is defec ve.
» Do not open the device, but leave the repair to specialists. Please contact the service address on the
back of the instruc ons. Liability and warranty claims are excluded for repairs carried out independently,
improper connec on or incorrect opera on.
» Never touch the power cable with wet hands.
» Never pull the mains cable out of the socket by the cable, always hold the mains plug.
» Never use the mains cable as a carrying handle.
» Keep the appliance and the power cable away from naked fl ames and hot surfaces.
» Do not place any objects on the power cable.
» Do not bury the mains cable.
» Lay the mains cable so that it does not become a tripping hazard.
» Do not kink the mains cable and do not lay it over sharp edges.
» If necessary, only use extension cables that are also suitable for outdoor use. Using an extension lead
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
» Do not use the appliance during thunderstorms. Switch it off and unplug the power cable from the
socket.
» If you are not using the appliance, cleaning it or if a fault occurs, always switch the appliance off and
disconnect it from the power supply.
» Only parts that correspond to the original appliance data may be used for repairs. This appliance contains
electrical and mechanical parts that are essen al for protec on against sources of danger.
» Only use spare parts and accessories supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. The use of third-
party parts immediately voids all warranty claims.
» Keep the electrical connec on of the appliance more than 3.5 m away from a water source.
» This appliance may only be used in conjunc on with a maximum water depth of 122 cm.
» To avoid a hazard due to an accidental reset of the overtemperature cut-out, this appliance must not
be operated by an external switching device, such as a mer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off .
