Slide control
∙ By sliding sideways between the plus/minus buttons, the power and time values
can be changed without having to press the individual buttons.
∙ Connect the power cord.
∙ Press the ON/OFF button . The display shows - - - -
∙ Note: If no pot or an unsuitable pot is detected, E7 flashes in the display, a signal
sounds, and the device switches to standby.
Power levels:
∙ By pressing the plus/minus buttons, the power can be changed between 200 and
2.000 W (200/600/900/1100/1200/1400/1600/1800/2000). The device starts automa-
tically at the selected power level.
∙ If no timer is programmed, the device switches off after 2 hours.
Booster:
∙ Pressing the button starts the appliance at the highest power level. The display
shows “P.”
∙ This function is intended for short-term searing.
∙ The power level cannot be changed during the booster function! To end the func-
tion, press the button again.
∙ Caution!
This cooking process must be monitored closely!
Timer:
∙ Press the button . 00:00 lights up on the display.
∙ The timer can be programmed for up to 180 minutes. Use the plus/minus buttons
or the slide control to do this.
∙ The selected time and power level alternate on the display.
∙ After the time has elapsed, the appliance goes into standby mode and the display
shows “H” (hot surface).
∙ After use, turn off the appliance using the button .
Child Lock:
Hold the button down for 3 seconds. A signal sounds and “LO” lights up on the
display. The buttons are locked and the selected program continues.
To deactivate the key lock, press and hold the button again.
