for carrying, pulling or
unplugging the power
tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or
entangled cords increase
the risk of electric shocks.

When operating a power
tool outdoors, use an
extension cord suitable for
outdoor use. Use of a cord
suitable for outdoor use
reduces the risk of electric
shock.

Only use a weather proof
extension cable tted with
a coupler according to
IEC60320-2-3. Do not use
extension cords lighter
than:
a) if rubber insulated,
ordinary tough rubber
sheathed exible cord
(code designation 60245
lEC53; H05RN-F);
b) if polyvinyl chloride
insulated, ordinary polyvinyl
chloride sheathed exible
cord (code designation
60227 lEC53; H05 VV-F).

Before using, check the
supply and extension cord
for signs of damage and
aging. Do not use the
appliance if the cord is
damaged or worn.

If operating a power tool
in a damp location is
unavoidable, use a residual
current device (RCD)
protected supply. Use of
an RCD reduces the risk of
electric shocks.
NOTE: The term “residual
current device(RCD)”
may be replaced by the
term “ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI)” or
“earth leakage circuit
breaker(ELCB)”.
