the following cases.
• When using the unit near a container filled with
water
Be careful not to get water on the unit.
• When using the unit while you are perspiring
Touching the unit with wet hands can get the
unit wet.
Never insert the USB plug when the unit or cable
is wet. If the USB plug is inserted while the unit
or cable is wet, a short circuit may occur due to
liquid (tap water, seawater, soft drink, etc.) or
foreign matter on the unit or cable, and cause
abnormal heat generation or malfunction.
This product has magnet(s) which may interfere
with pacemakers, programmable shunt valves for
hydrocephalus treatment, or other medical
devices. Do not place this product close to
persons who use such medical devices. Consult
your doctor before using this product if you use
any such medical device.
This product has magnet(s). Swallowing
magnet(s) could cause serious harm, such as
choking hazard or intestinal injuries. If magnets
(or a magnet) were swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately. Keep this product away from
children or other supervised individuals to
prevent accidental ingestion.
There is a danger that small parts may be
swallowed. After use, store in a location out of
reach of small children.

About the key layout
• The key layout of the unit is configured in the
US layout. When connecting the unit to a
computer that has a different keyboard layout,
the keys may not work correctly. In that case,
adjust the key settings on your computer
accordingly.
About the volume dial
• You can use the volume dial in the upper right
corner of the unit to adjust the volume on the
connected computer. This does not change the
volume of a connected headset. If you are
using a Sony gaming headset, the INZONE Hub
app allows you to use the volume dial to adjust
the volume of the headset.
About the USB cable
• Be sure to use the supplied USB Type-C cable.
• While connecting the USB cable, do not apply
excessive force to the connection part.
• When connecting or disconnecting the USB
cable, do not apply excessive force, such as by
pulling the cable, and connect or disconnect
the connector straight to the port to be
connected.
• If the USB cable connector is deformed, such as
by it being bent, stop use immediately.
Other notes
• Do not subject the unit to excessive shock.
• Wipe the plug occasionally with a dry, soft
cloth.
• Wipe the exterior clean with a soft, dry cloth.
– For stubborn stains, moisten a soft cloth with
warm water and then wipe.
– Do not use detergents, alcohol, or similar
agents, as these may cause discoloration or
deterioration.
– To remove dust, use a soft brush or similar
and gently wipe clean.
• Do not apply weight or pressure to the unit for
long periods, including when it is stored, as it
may cause deformation.
• If you experience discomfort while using the
unit, stop using it immediately.
• Avoid extended usage or storage in high
humidity or temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F).
It may cause failure.
• If you have any questions or problems
concerning this unit that are not covered in this
manual, please consult your nearest Sony
dealer.
