Selecting Channel Plans
To ensure stable operations, select a channel plan that is
suitable for your signal environment.
In Wireless Studio, you can ensure more stable operations
by performing the procedure found in [Channel Plan
Adviser] to select channel plans.
The following modes are available in [Channel Plan
Adviser].
Basic mode: This mode allows you to select a channel plan
that avoids signal interferences detected by the receiver’s
channel scan function.
Advanced mode: In addition to performing channel scan
as in basic mode, this mode allows you to select a channel
plan while taking into account frequencies that are being
used by known TV broadcasts or other wireless devices.
For details, see “[Channel Plan Adviser] Window”
(page 59).
This section describes how to select channel plans using
the simpler basic mode.
For details on selecting channel plans using advanced
mode, see “Selecting the channel plan” (page 61).

Place a check mark next to [Online monitoring and
control] in the [Device] menu.
The system enters online mode, and the receivers are
automatically detected and added to the [Device List]
window.

Select [Device] menu > [Channel Plan Adviser].
The following screen appears, and [Channel Plan
Adviser] starts.
After switching
to online mode
or executing
[Load settings],
the “The
network
interface card
is disabled,
please confirm
network
interface
settings in
Option menu or
the network
adapter setting
in control panel
for OS.”

When [Layer 3
switching] in [Network
interface settings] is set
to [Not available]:
The network interface
card of the PC is
disabled.

When [Layer 3

settings] is set to
[Not available]:
Open the
network adapter
settings in the
control panel,
and check that at
least one
network interface
card is enabled.
When [Layer 3
switching] in
[Network
interface
settings] is set to
[Available]:
Check that the
network interface
selected in
[Network
interface
settings] in the
[Option] menu is
enabled in the
network adapter
settings in the
control panel.
After switching
to online mode
or executing
[Load settings],
the “Please
input at least
one IP range
for your
devices, please
confirm
network
interface
settings in
Option menu.”
message
appears.
[IP address range
settings] in [Network
interface settings] in the
[Option] menu is not
configured.
Enter the IP
address range of
the devices
being used in [IP
address range
settings] in
[Network
interface
settings] in the
[Option] menu.
