Operation
Charging a Battery Pack

Plug the AC power cord into the AC IN
connector and connect the other end of
the cord to an AC power outlet.

If a battery pack is attached to battery
pack attachment section 1, set the CH1
mode selector to CHG.
If a battery pack is attached to battery
pack attachment section 2, 3 or 4, skip
this step.

Press the ? side of the POWER switch.
Charging starts automatically. The
charge indicator flashes in orange.
Charging status is shown on the display.
Contents shown on the display are switched
by pressing the DISPLAY button.
When a battery pack is charged at 90% or
more of full charge, the charge indicator
flashes in green. Once the battery pack is
fully charged, the charge indicator lights in
green, and “Full” (“Fin” during L mode)
appears on the display.
• The value shown on the display is just a
reference value, and it may differ from
the actual value.
• If a battery pack does not support the
INFO function, the battery capacity,
remaining charging time, and number of
cycles of charge/discharge are not
displayed.
• If a fully charged battery pack is removed
and attached again, it will take about 30
minutes before “Full” appears again.
• If a battery pack that has been charged
999 times or more is attached, “CCO”
(Cycle Count Over) appears in CYCLE
mode of the display.
