This equipment has been tested and found to

1. All devices connected to the unit must be
certified or compliant according to IEC 60601-1
stand
ards.
2. Furthermore, the system as a whole must
co
mply with IEC 60601-1 standards. All
pe
ripheral devices connected to the signal
input/output sections of the unit constitute the
medical-use system, and therefore, the user is
responsible for ensuring that the system as a
whole complies with IEC 60601-1 standards. If
in do
ubt, consult qualified Sony service
personnel.
3. Connecting the unit to other devices may
incre
ase the leakage current.
4. The unit generates, uses, and may radiate radio
fre
quency energy. If it is not installed and used
in accordance with the instruction manual, it
may cause interference on other devices. If the
unit causes interference (which can be
determined by disconnecting the power cord
from the unit), try the following.
ā Relocate the unit with respect to the affected
dev
ices.
ā Connect the unit and the affected devices to
d
ifferent branch circuits.
