Selecting patterns

Press
PTN
to open
PATTERN SELECT.

Press STE P.
This selects a pattern.
(STEP 1 for pattern 1… STEP 16 for pattern 16)

Press the
OK
button to enter a pattern.
• When you press the
OK
button in procedure 3, the default
behavior is to return to the parameter editing page that was
last open. However, this behavior can be changed in the system
settings. ( → P.159)
• If a dierent pattern is selected during pattern playback, it will
be readied but will not start playing immediately.
Playback will switch to the selected pattern after the currently
playing pattern completes playing.
(You can also switch patterns immediately by pressing
func

CLR
+ to stop all sound immediately.

Selecting pattern 17 and higher
Press page switches or TRACK PADs after procedure 1 to make
the menu display the next 16 patterns, enabling the selection of
pattern 17 and higher.
